Despite an advertised range of 547km on a full battery, Steve needed to problem-solve throughout the journey. He stopped to charge eight times after leaving Brisbane - at Maryborough, Miriam Vale, Carmila, Mackay, Bowen, Ayr, Townsville, Cardwell - before getting to Cairns.
